Treatment + Approaches

I am passionate about helping clients reconnect with themselves and move forward from trauma or hurtful relationships with a sense of strength, self-confidence, and healthy coping skills.

I work with individuals and couples who are healing from a harmful event or relationship, struggling with a sense of self and satisfaction, or want to gain insight into themselves and their relationships.

Together we can work toward more self-awareness, satisfaction, and stronger communication skills while decreasing the negative effects of stress and conflict.

I work with trauma survivors and anxiety-based disorders:

  • PTSD

  • Generalized Anxiety Disorder

  • Eating disorders

  • OCD and OCPD

Approaches I use include:

  • Psychodynamic,

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS),

  • Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT),

  • DBT and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)

  • and trauma-informed somatic.

Therapy should be customized based on the needs, learning styles, cultural considerations, and goals of each client. I advocate for physical and emotional awareness and the importance of honoring your unique experiences.

Additional Info

In addition to my therapy private practice, I have a corporate career in communications and digital strategy. I draw on my experience working in large, publicly-traded companies to support clients with issues related to their careers and work stress.

I am also passionate about community and giving back. I currently sit on the Alumnae Board at Saint Francis High School here in Sacramento and am a past secretary of the Sacramento Valley chapter of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.

Previous volunteer experience includes: Dorchester County Mobile Crisis Unit, Wounded Warrior Project, US Air Force Spouses wellness groups, and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
